Ho Ho Ho - Santa Paid a Visit - It was a Merry Christmas! 2010

We hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Sorry for the delay in our latest entry.     The last part of December was crazy.

December 24th we both had to work 1/2 days and then off to my Mom's for a Party/Open House.   December 25th we were back at our house preparing a yummy Turkey Dinner for both families.    December 26th we were back at Mom's house for breakfast and to open gifts and then over to my Brother & his Fiancee's for another Christmas Dinner.

Well, Mr. Bob scored big in the gift department.  LOL       He had the Biggest Boxes to open.

He received some lovely Fisher Price Buildings from Mommy McP.   You see, she made some friends on the internet and told them about our G-Scale Train plans and that we found that Fisher Price Buildings were the PERFECT size buildings for the train set.   We had been to an open house at another G-Scaler's house and they had taken Fisher Price Buildings and custom made them into G-Scale buildings and Bob and I decided we would LOVE to try that.     BIG BIG HELLO & THANK YOU TO GERRY & DOUG!! (heehee, we heard you are following our Blog now, thank you!!!!  (((((HUGS)))).   They also had included some real CN gloves for Bob.   He was totally thrilled!!!!   On December 22nd, Bob and I went out shopping for last minute gifts and found these awesome looking metal planes, and I could tell Bob really wanted them, so sneaky me, the next day called my Mom "SUPER MOM" and she dashed out and picked up a bunch for her and I to split as a gift for Bob.     We spoiled him.    We can't wait to get at the buildings and for the spring for him to make up an airport outside.

While it's been cold outside, Bob had been busy working on his Popsicle Stick Bridge.  I'll be posting piccies soon.   He also painted up another "GIRL of the Night" and named her DONUT.   LOL  Stay tuned for pics of her too.

Hopefully I can get the new blog entry done for this week.
