Heavy Snow in G-Scale Garden Train Railway Layout - 01-11-14

Blog Entry by Bob

One of the best parts about a weekend is sleeping in, but
sometimes the weekly routine of being wide awake at 6 am
kicks in.  Dark when you wake up and dark when you come
home from work; it makes it difficult to play trains and
take photos especially when the temperature drops to -30 with the wind chill. The train layout has been covered in snow since the end of November, but this particular morning instead of grey skies the sun finally broke through. Here are some photos of some town folks exploring the record snow fall before I grabbed a shovel
to help them dig out.
