So, back in December 2012 while Christmas shopping at Canadian Tire, we found this cute little marching band set for use inside with a Christmas Layout. Right away Bob wanted them. We spent about $10.00 for the set.
This past month (Feb) Bob decided to start working on his band. He knew what he wanted to do from the start. I'm a HUGE Yellow Submarine (Beatles) fan and so he thought it would be neat to make our own Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band for the layout.
The following photo shows his work in progress. On the right, you see how the band looked like when he bought them, one colour. On the left, he started painting them black.
Now you see he added on the left, some white / grey.
And here is his completed project. I was so thrilled when I saw these!!!!!!! He did a wonderful job!
And of course, with new fallen snow this morning, he just had to get out and take some photos. :) Enjoy!
