(Blog Entry & Photos by Bob)

Brewery Decay

January 2012, I started building our own brewery from scratch.

From its creation the brewery has stood outside getting pounded by the sun, rain and ice for the past 3 years.

Though we intended it to be an abandoned brewery it has really gone it to disrepair.

Looks like some wild-life moved in or should I say UNDER the brewery for the winter.

While I glued the plastic bits onto the other buildings in the village I also grabbed some wood screws and brackets to try to prolong the life of our beloved layout centerpiece.    Unfortunately, it seems the wood choice was poor and pieces are shattering as I try and fix it.   Mary is keeping positive, while the brewery is slowly decaying, she feels it adds to the whole "abandoned" look.    She has plans for another exciting photo-shoot, she just needs some special g-scale people to make it work, so stay tuned.
