Went to a Train Show in Barrie - Feb 23, 2011

So it was planned on Saturday, February 22, 2011 we would head up to Barrie, Ontario to go to a Barrie-Allandale Train Show

I got up early to check the radar and weather as they were calling for some snow.  Sadly, we would have to postpone our trip as there were major snow streamers coming off Georgian Bay and the 400 Highway was closed.    No biggie, we would just go on Sunday.    Bob worked on his train bridge and I played video games.

The next morning we got up and they were calling for another storm, this time in our area but later on in the day.  We packed up and headed out early and arrived in Barried shortly after 11:30am.

This is one of the biggest train shows we have been to.    (We've only been to two  LOL)   This one was in a big greenhouse complex.    Lots of train goodies, unfortunately, only two vendors carried G-Scale - sad....    There was a lot of HO Scale.

Bob approached one of the set-ups and was allowed to drive a train around.

We were extremely happy to see one of our favorite G-Scale stores was there - Winona Garden Railway.

Hopefully we'll be able to find a show in the future that will have a lot more G-Scale items for sale. HO is cute, but we feel that G-Scale is more fun to play with!!! Can't wait until the spring!!!
